In the breeding of Dressage Stable Van Baalen, breeding a Grand Prix horse is the goal. Therefore, both in the mare line and in the selection of stallions, we look for proven lines with a lot of athletic ability.

In addition to the Zinni van Wittenstein line, Dressuurstal Van Baalen is bred with the mare line of the successful NMK mare Davina (by Johnson – 95 points in the IBOP), from which the Grand Prix horse Habibi DVB (by Don Schufro) and the KWPN-approved stallion Kaiser DVB (by De Niro) descend. Out of the purchased NMK mare Erludine (by Jazz) was born Jacky Kennedy DVB (by Damsey).
